Not related to your wedsite per se, but my grandparents came from the the Kumamoto area from a village called Tateno. I also understand that there is a village called Migita close to the Aso or Oita area. I visited the Kumamoto once several years ago. I would appreciate whatever information or assistance you can provide on the village of Migita or if there are anybody I can contact of the Maruno family (That was my gradmothers maiden name and the family I visited in Tateno several years ago) that still lives in the village of Tateno.
